A Window, A Cry

It was just like any other day I had no clue that it would stay But it has, and for how long What lines are you thinking along?
A person looking into my eye A window between our cry Whose side would you want to be? He had a lot more to see
A body my age, a soul very mature To this day I am not sure Was the tear out of pity Or for the abundant city
The distance and the clarity, increased For that very moment, my life seized It was about my love, career and goal It was about his food, family and hole

Interpretations of life vary far and wide For some it is night, for some it is day Each and every one takes his own side
But success is one thing by which all abide Without knowing it too can stray Interpretations of life vary far and wide
Success may mean a man’s pride For which he wants the other person to lay Each and every one takes his own side
For a kid, it may mean to climb a slide An adult may want to be accepted as a gay Interpretations of life vary far and wide
For a mother, to be able to guide An artist would want to paint a ray Each and every one takes his own side
All of us want to finally guide the tide But still, I stand by what I say Interpretations of life vary far and wide Each and every one takes his own side

Do you think population takes the blame? Let me assure you, this excuse is very lame It is we, and only we who are at fault We need to accept this with a pinch of salt
We are wrong to say that we are 120 crore Actually, we are not even a score We are divided in innumerable ways The government takes full advantage of this and plays
The road should be neat and clean But we will throw garbage, even if a dustbin is seen All politicians should be honest and devoted But we became an engineer and then voted
People commonly say “Corruption is eating this land” But pay a bribe to watch a band Quality of education is a big issue We just sob and use a tissue
It is high time we rise, high time we own up We need…
